Colvin House is a large turn of the century mansion on the corner of North Sheridan Road and Thorndale Ave. It is accessible by bus, train, car and walking.
PARKING OPTIONS: COLVIN HOUSE (https://colvinhouseevents.com/frequently-asked-question/)has multiple parking options!
Parking can be arranged in our courtyard or with our partners' lots and are subject to an additional fee. Some options require a parking permit that must be displayed in the dash of cars. You can acquire a Parking Permit from us at the Check-in desk at the event.
Colvin House is an accessible venue! Their first floor is ADA compliant with a wheelchair lift and gender-neutral, accessible restroom.

The Print Shop Live is within IGC (Industrial Graphics Corporation) at 833 N Albany (https://www.google.com/maps/place/833+N+Albany+Ave,+Chicago,+IL+60622/@41.8966319,-87.7054082,17.57z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x880e32acc8456a35:0x67037efdf9b651bb!8m2!3d41.8963053!4d-87.7038675!16s%2Fg%2F11c4r2xn5b?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDkwOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. The venue is in an industrial area, and a little hard to find the first time, as Albany, a North/South street, looks more like an alley or a driveway there, connecting Grand Avenue to the North and Chicago Avenue to the South.
1. From Grand Avenue and North Sacramento Blvd. - just below Humboldt Park, you'll see a large building called STONE CITY on the corner.
2. From there, travel North/West on Grand to Albany Ave, about a half block. You will see a white privacy fence that says "GRAND A" on your left - the entrance to Albany Ave is just past the fence - across from Nature House.
3. Take a left/travel South on Albany Ave.
4. About halfway down the street, take a left into the parking lot and park anywhere.
5. Facing the building, you will see a patio with planters - the entrance to your right is just past them, the door is just to the left of the overhead door - both are painted in bright-colored graphics.
THE PRINT SHOP LIVE: Yes. FREE Parking is available in the Parking Lot to the North of The Print Shop's front door, as well as on the street.
COLVIN HOUSE: There are multiple parking options! Parking can be arranged in the COLVIN HOUSE courtyard or with their partners' lots, and are subject to an additional fee. Some options require a parking permit that must be displayed in the dash of cars. You can obtain the permit at the check in desk on the evening of the Salon.
Different venues have different cultures and house rules.
Your entry includes small bites and beverages at THE PRINT SHOP LIVE, and in the spirit of community, we ask you to bring a bottle or a dish to share.
COLVIN HOUSE can not allow food or drink from the outside, as it is a violation of their licensing. They will always provide food and drink for sale, specially curated to the Salon's theme. Their prices are set low in keeping with our mission of accessibility. We encourage you to partake, and let them know how much we appreciate their valuable partnership.

We always make an effort to provide a variety of goodies to accommodate different dietary needs. And there will always be non-alcoholic options as well as vino and occasionally a special event cocktail.

Donations are always accepted.
Typically, we suggest $25 -$35 per person
Or $15 for students w/ ID.
However, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. So pay what you can.

While most of our performances are geared towards an adult audience, we encourage you to bring your children of all ages. As parents ourselves, we know what the significant impact that live music, performance and viewing art in person, can make on young minds.
